Shooting Renewables - send us your wind photos!

Calling all photographers!

We are looking for fun filled, eye-catching photographs for the Embrace website. The photographs will be used to promote our national campaign to support renewables, and images (appropriately credited) may then be used in subsequent Embrace mailouts, to promote next year's Wind Week, in RenewableUK's quarterly magazine RealPower and in other publications of the trade association.

The winning image will be picked by the Embrace campaign director and RenewableUK’s Communications department. There'll also be a special prize for the most popular photo on our Facebook page.

First prize is a £70 Amazon gift certificate, and the two runners up will each receive a bottle of champagne. The photo that attracts the most 'likes' on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/embracemyplanet will also earn its photographer a bottle of champagne.

We want to see lots of smiling faces! The winning photo needs to show that this isn’t “NIMBY Britain”- it's “WIMBY Britain!” 

The image needs to be at least 300dpi. Please include the name of the project in your email which we will credit if used. Deadline for submissions is Friday July 9th, and the competition is open to submissions from companies and individuals.  Submissions should be sent by email to embracephotocompetition@gmail.com, and posted on our Facebook group.
