Britain WILL face power shortages if the disastrous "RUSH TO WIND" continues.
I mean, the idea that we can rely upon the wind to deliver us 30% of our energy needs is just bonkers! And please don't give me that rubbish about "the wind is always blowing somewhere" - think about it, a region of high pressure is usually much bigger than the area occupied by the UK - if one settles on us, the whole wind fleet gets becalmed.
Stop this idiocy - build nuclear. This will satisfy the "CO2 is a poison" nutters and give us constant power.
Mr SensibleMan (aka *deleted at request of user* of Against Wind Farm At Low Spinney Action Group), nuclear isn't the answer - it suffers the opposite issue to wind, inasmuch as you can't turn a nuclear reactor off - say at night, when demand is lower. That's why France (which gets 80% of its energy from nuclear) has to provide heavy subsidies (significantly more than wind) to its nuclear industry to counteract the fact it has to dump vast amounts of unused electricity at night, incurring a cost to to the taxpayer and the consumer. That's not to even go into the fact that it takes ten to fifteen years to build a new nuclear power station - and the old ones will start being switched off in 2015. Without wind, the lights will go off.

It's a given that you live in a fantasy world - your many posts confirm this view, there's very little truth in any of them. You're also very confused, but I don't really think you're interested in a debate, are you?
You have obtained and published my name and that of Dr. Hanning which no doubt in your puerile mind is very funny (I've seen your twitter post). It's also in violation of the site's pirvacy policy and an abuse of trust.
I appreciate that you are responsible for this site (though its not obvious from your profile - you have to look at the Contact Us page to discover this) which explains your access to the database.
Can I assume on the basis that as the BWEA claims copyright on this site (which suggests they funded it) and that you are managing it, that the BWEA supports your violations of trust?
I think I'll use this page as evidence of the immoral nature of Big Wind and how it uses gullible people like you for passionate advocacy in their pursuit of profit.
